Exence has modernized the SRM environment at Ronal Polska.

As part of the planned project the following tasks were carried out:

• Delivery of HPE 3PAR storage
• Delivery of VMware hosts (HPE servers)
• Supply of additional VMware SRM licenses

Exence started the adventure with VMware SRM technology in Ronal Polska in 2016. At that time, it was a technology dedicated only to two business systems. After two years of using this technology, the IT team decided to expand the environment and protect subsequent systems with the security that VMware SRM provides.

As part of the development of the SRM environment, new HPE arrays were delivered. 3PAR arrays offer high scalability, efficiency, a wealth of available functionalities, flexibility as well as an unconventional approach to managing data space on the storage.

The development of the SRM environment will be another joint project for the Ronal Polska IT team and Exence’s engineers. Exence is highly competent and has extensive experience in the field of IT infrastructure, which is why our cooperation has been going on for several years.

Exence has successfully implemented Swivel system for one of our clients.

Established in 2000, Swivel Secure is a pioneer in solutions for securing network access. The Swivel multi-factor authentication platform with the patented One-Time-Code Extraction technology is recognized worldwide as a standard in software (without hardware tokens) authentication technology. According to Gartner analysts, Swivel offers a wide range of technology implementation possibilities. The system provides authentication using: browser, mobile applications, hardware tokens, SMS, Voice Response and so-called interactive channels.

The implementation of Swivel technology provides the following benefits for the client:

• One system to secure technologies from different manufacturers.
• Additional security (2 factor) for access to: business applications, VPN, WEB services, cloud and selected administrative accounts (also applies to Microsoft products).
• PINsafe – up to 99 codes can be used without authentication from the Swivel server.
• Administrators do not know user PINs, they are randomly generated.
• Prevention of PINs being change to simple ones, e.g. 1234, 1111.
• Self-management – the user can change the PIN himself, reset the PIN or pair the PINsafe on the phone with his login.

Exence has completed the design, constructed and implemented an HR content presentation system in production halls and social rooms. The Content Presentation System (HR information streaming management system) enables the display of images and information on industrial monitors located in production halls, company canteens, club rooms, etc. The biggest advantage of the system is that employees have access to information without making any effort on his part or having to access additional devices.

The implementation of the content presentation system has reduced publication of paper information materials and the work time of the HR department. It also improved the flow of internal information between this department and production employees.
